Welcome to Rise of the Immortals!
An Ancient Greek Mythology Roleplay
Quick Links:
Credo:
RotI uses true characters from history and mythology and combines that with the creativity of original ideas and plotlines. Present and future is AU and we do not follow a true-to-history timeline of events moving forward.

We are an Ancient Greek and Mythology play-by-post RPG set in 310 BC, just a few months after the only living heir to the Greek conqueror Alexander the Great was slain. The Fates have decidedly seen enough overstep by the Olympian Gods, and have resurrected the most profound names from history to take up the cause against them.

The Fates have beckoned, and against your will you have heeded the call. The heroes have no control over the desire, and the Gods follow Zeus' command - if only because they are all curious why they are called like lapdogs. Only upon arrival will it all unravel...but how?

No New Posts Macedonia
Centered in the northeastern part of the Greek peninsula, the kingdom is bordered by Epirus to the west, Paeonia to the north, the region of Thrace to the east and Thessaly to the south. The rise of Macedon, from a small kingdom to one which dominates the entire Hellenic world, occurred under the reign of Philip II. For a brief period, after the conquests of Alexander the Great, it became the most powerful state in the world, controlling a territory that included the former Persian empire, stretching as far as the Indus River. Now, it is a mournful place, cracking beneath the stress of internal political strife and the aftershock of Alexander IV of Macedon's death far too young.

No New Posts The Underworld

The underworld is hidden in the earth and is the kingdom of the dead ruled over by Hades. Geographically, it's surrounded by a series of rivers: The Acheron (river of woe), The Cocytus (river of lamentation), The Phlegethon (river of fire), The Styx (river of unbreakable oath by which the gods swear), and The Lethe (river of forgetfulness). Once across the rivers, an adamantine gate guarded by Cerberus forms the entrance to the kingdom. Deep within the kingdom is Hades' vast palace, complete with many...guests.
